On April 28th, 2006 Omtool’s AccuRoute document routing platform for the Ricoh Embedded Software Architecture was recognized as the best and most viable commercial solution by Ricoh Corporation and Sun Microsystems, Inc. at the 2006 Ricoh Developers Conference on Marco Island, Florida. As part of this prize-winning development work, Omtool surveyed a large number of Ricoh Dealers who clearly articulated the desire to have a unified document routing solution that includes enterprise fax from a single provider. In addition, these survey respondents supported the AccuRoute feature that enables the majority of distribution work to be executed from each end-user’s desktop and also enables simple, single-button entry from the Ricoh-embedded software devices, whenever that capability is required.
