The integrated multifunction printer (iMFP) solution from Pharos Systems provides enhanced print security for Ricoh MFPs and contributes to environmental sustainability.
Security: Print/copy/scan functions on the iMFP are disabled until users authenticate themselves by swiping their ID card or typing their credentials.
Compliance/Confidentiality: Sensitive documents can be immediately collected and secured by the appropriate people because the iMFP cannot print a job until the job owner releases it. (Print release is done via the Pharos interface, which is displayed on the Ricoh control panel.)
Environment: Users print the jobs they really need rather than every job they submitted, thereby reducing waste. They can use the Pharos interface to delete unneeded jobs, or let the system automatically purge them.
