About Select Technology:

Select Technology develops customizable user interfaces for MFDs. Its new m3i concept will allow Ricoh MFDs to be controlled either: remotely via PCs, laptops, PDAs or Smartphones; via speech; or via the MFD’s touchscreen. The first m3i product to be launched is an accessibility solution, MyUI (Access Module).

Value Proposition:

MyUI (Access Module) allows users to control an MFD remotely via any device with a compatible internet browser e.g. PC or PDA. This is of special benefit to wheelchair users or the visually impaired. Crucially there is no requirement to install any additional software on either servers or the chosen device, so removing at a stroke potential IT conflicts. MyUI affords increased compliance with disability legislation such as S508. The solution addresses the accessibility requirements of national, state and local government entities along with organizations that rely on government funding. Additionally, most large corporations also have accessibility policies in place.
